Jisoo On “Salon Drip 2”, “They Asked Me To Lose Weight During Trainee Days, But I Liked Looking Chubby”

On January 28th, TEO’s program “Salon Drip 2” released a teaser for the next episode featuring BLACKPINK’s Jisoo.

Jang Do-yeon asked, “You said you’d never seen someone like you when you first joined the company?”. Jisoo replied, “If they ask me to lose weight, I would say I prefer chubby”. She continued, “I always hold it in. I’m always trying to hold myself but why should I do that? Sometimes I get angry because of it. Why do I have to worry about that so much?”.

When Jang Do-yeon asked. “Is your favorite ‘Inside Out’ character Disgust?”, Jisoo answered, “Only Disgust looks fine to me”. Jang Do-yeon wondered, “You ate a newspaper, did it taste good?”, and Jisoo replied, “It tasted nice”, drawing laughter with her unique personality.

Jang Do-yeon then asked, “Do you often dress up when meeting BLACKPINK members?”. In response, Jisoo smiled and said, “Some members dress up. Rosé and Lisa often dress up. Jennie and I prefer looking natural. Suddenly there are princesses. It’s half and half, but I think it’s fine”.
